授業の目的、または到達目標

The objective of this course is to provide the schematic approach of business processes. After taking this course， the students will learn the basic flow of business processes， such as sales forecast， production planning (MPS) and Material Requirement Plan (MRP) as well as basic functions of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. The course is intended for the fourth year students who would need the knowledge of business processes before graduation， and for the third year students for their graduation project preparation.

授業の概要

Supply chain management (SCM) is one of the management tools to maximize the business process efficiency. Business processes covered in SCM start from sales forecast creation， followed by MPS and MRP， ending with collection process， and all the processes are controlled by ERP data processing.
The course will not get into the details of each process， but will introduce them as basic business flows. Where appropriate， case studies are used so that the students will be exposed to real case applications.
