Course Description
Economic development dictatorship has been established to promote economic development policies in Asian developing countries. For that purpose, human rights and workers’ rights have been oppressed to keep stable society and economic productivity. But these oppressions are criticized by Western developed countries because human rights are respected all over the world. Political leaders insist on Asian value against international principle of human rights in Asian developing countries. Through these discussions we will learn how to promote human rights including workers’ rights in the process of globalization.
