To understand more about social problems with specific reference to the British education system.

授業の概要

The current British government says that its policy is Education， education， education! It has done more to reform and improve the educational system of Britain than any other government this century. Taking this educational reform as its background， this course will examine important current social issues connected with education in the United Kingdom. Students will read about and discuss the social issues objectively. The course will deal mainly with primary and secondary level education.

• Discussion， reports， lectures， presentations

準備学習

• Students must study and prepare at least one hour for every hour of class time. When doing research for essays and presentations and writing essays it will be necessary to spend much longer than this.

• There is not a class text. I have prepared materials. I will hand them out
