To become more informed about the life of Jesus as a historical person and to become more understanding of how relevant the life teachings of Jesus are to current life.

授業の概要

The course will focus on the life and teachings of Jesus. We will conduct an overview of the life and teachings of Jesus. Then students will choose or be assigned a topic for further study and research. Topics will generally be a person， a place， or a theme found in the New Testament or otherwise related to Jesus. Each topic will require investigation in the Bible， some study of viewpoints outside of the Bible， and an explanation of how the topic is related to current life.

• Students must read assigned readings and prepare questions for discussion. Students must also do the research required for their 5-page paper and presentation.
