授業の目的、または到達目標
To better understand the world impact of the events of and following 9/11.
授業の概要
This class aims to develop students’ understanding of the impact of the events of 9/11 on the world community by exploring their own and the world’s reactions to the events of Sept 11, 2001. Classroom discussions will help students to understand the responses of the world, bring clarity to the general understanding of the effects of 9/11, and help prepare them for living in a post-9/11 world.
授業の形態
- Reading homework study with short lectures and student discussion in class.
準備学習
- Weekly readings with written responses in preparation for class discussion. Readings are designed to be at most 3 pages of daily reading.
