授業の目的、または到達目標

Building on material studied in Phonetics， this class will further develop students’ abilities to express themselves effectively.

授業の概要

Students will review basic fundamentals of phonetics， including rhythm. They will then study， practice and present samples from various TV commercials， news broadcasts， speeches， stories， movies and dramas. Each students will make two presentations (one group and one individual). Emphasis will be placed on correct pronunciation following the phonetic rules studied and appropriate interpretation and/or expression for the materials.

授業の形態

• 幾つかの教材それぞれに適したOral Interpretation(英語音声表現)を考察、実践していく。そして学期前半ではクラス共通Project(Group Project)を、そして後半には学生各自が選び深く取り組んだProject(Individual Project)を、リハーサルを含めVideo撮りを行い、Evaluationする。
